Doctors Without Borders

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF or DWB – Doctors Without Borders) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that provides assistance to people, who are in life-threatening situations such as armed conflicts, epidemics or natural disasters.

The DWB actions are defined by the medical ethic and principles of neutrality and impartiality. DWB offers help based on their own evaluation of the needs in the regions and without any discrimination.

Zerpa is supporting DWB so they can keep providing humanitarian aid wherever required, be it in emergency situations or in regions where ongoing crises have been forgotten. We hope that with our support DWB will be able to maintain its complete independence of political, religious and economic interests.

Plan International

Since 4 years we support Jean Koulemou, a 7 year old boy from Nzérékoré, Guinea , West Africa, which is a country 8 times the size of Belgium.

In this region, which was hardly hit by the Ebola-virus in 2014, the population depends mainly on agriculture for a living.

Plan International is working together with the local authority to provide pedagogical supervision in more than 500 schools, education, training, class and medical equipment, hygiene and all kind of initiatives for the local economy. There is also special attention to the protection and rights of children with extra focus to girls.

Through our support we would like to help them, and Jean’s family in particular, so that he can go to school and get the best chance for a hopeful future.

Good luck Jean!
